There is something sacred about witnessing a woman as she is.
I’m drawn to the strength in softness, to the way light kisses skin, to the poetry of women. My work is about presence and an exploration of our connection between us and Mother Nature.
I created Eilean Stark as a space for this kind of seeing where women are celebrated as art, because you are.
About
Alexa is an Asheville boudoir photographer with a collegiate background in fine art and entrepreneurship. She has studied at UNCSA, Penland School of Crafts, Anderson Ranch, Appalachian State, and most recently attended an artist residency at Château d’Orquevaux in France. Her work explores the relationship of women and earth, discovering visual parallels between the female figure and landscapes all over the world.
She currently resides in Maggie Valley, NC with her husband and dog, Ranger, and is the owner of Superlove Film, a film wedding photography business.
