This work takes place on the lands of Indigenous peoples, whose histories, cultures, and presence remain vital to these places. Across the country, these lands have been cared for and protected for generations by their original stewards. In recognition of those who continue to safeguard these spaces, 1% of all profits are donated to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation to support conservation efforts. This organization was chosen because it directly supports the landscapes and communities where I live. Acknowledgment is only a first step—continued learning and support for Indigenous-led initiatives are encouraged.
